Using Maltego in Kali linux

Install Maltego in Kali linux open your terminal and type:

sudo apt install maltego

After install type:

maltego

Before you can begin using Maltego, you must first register for an account. Keep in mind your chosen password, as you will need it to log in again later. Once the registration process is complete, you can log in to Maltego and begin using its tools.

After that click on Machines and then choose Run Machine.

A machine is simply what type of foot printing we want to do against our target. Select the machine that you want to use. There are many different types of machines available, Select the machine that you want to use.

Then choose a Target.

As you can see in the screenshot below, Maltego has gathered a lot of information on our target. This is just the tip of the iceberg though – with Maltego, you can dig much deeper and uncover all sorts of hidden information about a person or organisation.
