Enhance Internet Privacy with Firefox and DuckDuckGo

The internet is a vast and dangerous place, full of trackers and hackers looking to exploit any weaknesses they can find. While there are many tools and operating systems available to help keep users safe, not all of them are created equal. Some browsers are better than others at protecting users’ privacy and security, but it can be hard to know which ones to trust. There are many factors to consider when choosing a browser, including the user interface, the range of features and functions, and the level of security and privacy protection. It is important to do your research and choose a browser that will best suit your needs.

In Firefox settings you can do a lot to greatly improve your privacy while browsing:

– First, I’d recommend that you Make Firefox your default browser. Navigate to the Firefox menu > Options > General (Alternertively, you can just enter β€œabout:preferences#general” on the address bar).

If you want to ensure that Firefox is always your default browser, you can check the “Always check if Firefox is your default browser” checkbox. This will make sure that Firefox is always checked as your default browser, and you won’t have to worry about it being set to another browser. To make Firefox your default browser, click the “Make Default” button next to “Firefox is not your default browser”. This will take you to your operating system’s Default Programs/Apps main settings, where you should select Firefox as your default browser under the Browser/Web Browser category.
