WhatsApp Voice Status is a feature that allows users to record and share short voice clips with friends and family. It’s a great way to share your thoughts, feelings, and emotions in a way that transcends text-based communication.
WhatsApp Voice Status and Other Features Are Now Available
WhatsApp introduced voice status, which allows users to record and share up to 30 second voice messages as status updates. By pressing the microphone icon on the status screen, users will be able to create voice notes.
It adds a more personal touch to status updates and serves as a sensible solution for individuals. Who do not like to type or utilise graphics. WhatsApp tested its voice status feature with Android and iOS beta testers last month.
In addition to allowing users to share texts, photos, and videos as Statuses. WhatsApp is introducing new features to enhance the overall experience of sharing. This includes full link previews, which give users a better context of the content being shared.
Furthermore, users now have the ability to select the audience for each Status, giving them more control over who can view their content. This can be changed as needed, with the most recent settings being set as the default.
A new audience selector button has been added to the status screen, providing users with the ability to control who can view their status updates. This menu will save the most recently selected audience and use it as the default for subsequent status updates, as stated in a blog post by the messaging app.
Prior to the introduction of the audience selector, users were required to navigate through the WhatsApp privacy settings in order to select their desired viewers of their status updates.
WhatsApp has also expanded the availability of status reactions that were previously available to some users. Swiping up and tapping on one of eight emoticons allows users to rapidly respond to any status updates.
These new capabilities include the recently announced Status reactions. Which allow you to submit emoji reactions to a Status, similar to how you can do with Instagram Stories or even Facebook Stories.
In addition, status profile rings will be visible in the chat list, alerting you of a recent Status update. Once again, this is a function that already exists on Instagram. The new WhatsApp Status capabilities have begun to be rolled out to Android and iOS users worldwide. And are expected to reach everyone in the coming weeks.
